Reflective Practice eLearning course
This course is designed to introduce you to reflective practice in all its forms. Reflections on practice and in practice are important concepts in social care, and feed into the idea of self-development linking theory to practice.
Lifelong learning in social care is central to the delivery of quality care. Continuous Professional Development is a process of lifelong learning with focus on ensuring individuals’ needs are met, whilst enabling care professionals to expand and fulfil their own potential. We know that learning occurs in many different ways; reflective practice is a way of reviewing and analysing your own experiences to make sense of and improve the way you work. It is useful for people who want to carry on learning throughout their lives and provides a method for evidencing professional development has taken place, as well as capability.
