This Nurturing Mental Wellness course: Mental Health and You is suitable for anyone who is interested in learning more about mental health in general. Most of us have been physically unwell, you are very lucky if you have not! Similarly to physical health, mental health is just as important.
It affects every aspect of our lives; our thoughts, feelings and behaviours are dictated by how well we feel mentally. We all have ups and downs, but suffering from a mental illness for any length of time can change our life completely.
We need good mental health to flourish, look after ourselves and have good relationships with others, so in this course we will look at some of the most common mental health problems, and identify ways that you can access treatment and keep well.
