Grey Matter Learning (GML) has recently been named as a finalist in the Workforce Development category at the forthcoming Social Care Premier Supplier Awards. The Social Care Premier Supplier Awards are a distinguished accolade within the care sector, designed to recognise excellence in products and services that enhance the quality of care provided. These awards celebrate innovation, exceptional customer service, and demonstrable positive outcomes for clients.
The Workforce Development award recognises organisations that go above and beyond in enhancing the skills and capabilities of the social care workforce. Contenders for this category must showcase an innovative approach to workforce development that adapts seamlessly to changing guidance and updates. Moreover, exceptional client outcomes must be at the heart of their efforts.
Such exceptional client outcomes and clear impacts was evidenced as part of their submission, with the likes of AgeUK, one of GML’s 3,000 plus customers noting that “from a Quality & Compliance point of view, [working with GML] gives us more confidence that our partners’ teams are more competent in their roles.” Over 80% of Age UK’s partners with regulated services use ‘Click’ and it’s been noted that they see the benefits. Devon County Council, who have recently renewed their contract with GML, have 5,429 care professionals who have benefitted from the 135+ courses available on ‘Click’. To date, their care professionals have completed 56,163 courses. Grey Matter Learning’s impact with the council can be discovered here.
