Functional Skills – English eLearning course

The purpose of this course is to look at different ways in which to understand English. This might be communicating with others or reading, writing, speaking and listening. This course will include reading and understanding care plans, risk assessments, accident and incident reports as well as following instructions and recording on Medication Administration Record charts.

The course has been created in line with Skills for Care’s Core Skills framework. Each section will look at one of these areas in more detail as well as some offering a short bitesize video to watch. In addition, some have activities to complete as well as other resources which will help the topic become relevant.
