Managing Quality in Health and Social Care eLearning course
The aim of this course is to enable you to appreciate what’s involved in delivering ‘quality service’. We will ask you to think about the challenges faced by health and social care managers and staff, such as finance constraints and reduced staffing levels. By reflecting on the care provision within your own workplace, you will then be able to see areas that could be improved.
This particular unit will also discuss the dimensions (descriptors) of quality and some approaches to quality, such as quality control, quality assurance, evidence based practice and benchmarking.
